Guide Review - Kensington Contour Backpack

The Kensington Contour Backpack is a great solution for mobile professionals who need to carry a lot of smaller mobile gadgets yet retain the ability to have quick access and remain hands-free while traveling, such as in airports or rail stations.

I had no problems adjusting the Kensington Contour to fit me and feel comfortable. Adjusting the lumbar support helps ensure a comfortable fit and you will notice a difference when you adjust it to suit you. The weight of the laptop backpack is better balanced and the weight is balanced between your back and shoulders.

The shoulder straps are very comfortable and well-padded. You can quickly adjust them. The fabric they are made with which faces you breathes and you won't get that sweaty, sticky feeling or feel that the shoulder straps will slide off.

If you've ever had a laptop case that frustrated you because there really wasn't enough room for all your mobile gear, the you'll like the Kensington Contour Backpack. I had no problems loading it up with my laptop, files, disks, portable drives and stationary supplies. Tickets or other paperwork you need quick access to fit nicely in the side pockets and you don't have to open the main compartment to get at them.

With the wide variety of weather we've recently experienced, I didn't have to worry about my gear getting wet or being damaged because of weather. The SnugFit™ sleeve helps keep the laptop warm as well and I never found it cold even after being outside for periods of time.

Very different experience - love this backpack, Member belflew

I'm surprised by the negative review of the Contour backpack. This is hands down the best pack I've ever owned. (I commute by bike and have gone through a lot of backpacks.) Not only is it super-comfortable no matter how full - the balance and padding are really well-designed - it's also sturdy, without a rip, tear, or breakage in 3 years (it looks almost brand new). And I'm used to packs falling apart after a while, because I work them hard: heavy PC laptop plus multiple notebooks, books, and sometimes groceries. Unless for some reason the quality has dropped since I bought it, I highly recommend this pack.
