The Cozmo Mambo Combo includes a Cozmo laptop case, your choice of a medium Cable Guy or Gearpouch and a sleevecase. These bags were have been designed for mobile professionals and are made in the United States.
The overall quality is excellent and you won't find too many laptop cases which you can get specific to your laptop and your own personality. A variety of color options are available and each sleevecase is sized specific to your model of laptop.
Cozmo Laptop Bag
The Cozmo laptop bag I received for review is the large Pink Leather Fantasy and while that is definitely a girly girl looking bag, there are other color options available for the guys.
I was very impressed with the design and construction of this laptop bag, it's very sturdy and has plenty of room. Some women may find the medium Cozmo laptop bag to be a better size but for gadget freaks like me - bigger is always better.
The Cozmo has plenty of room for your laptop, files and mobile gadgets. There are two exterior file pockets, one of which has an inner zipped pocket which is handy for tickets or other smaller documents. The neat thing with this zipped pocket is that it’s concealed within the outer pocket and so not very obvious. It’s quite secure and if someone tried to get into you would definitely know about it.
There is plenty of room for files and even binders of any size; you won’t have problems carrying letter or legal size folders and books.
On the accessory side of things, the interior accessory pocket can hold CDs, DVDs, external drives and quite honestly any mobile gadget you want to pack away. There is even a business card holder and cell phone holder.
Shoulder Straps
While you may not give much thought to the shoulder straps on a laptop case, you do remember how it feels after carrying for any great distance. Well constructed should straps for laptop bags aren't always a given. The Waterfield Designs shoulder strap is well made and very comfortoable.
The shoulder strap D-rings are offset which increases your comfort level and creates a better load balance. It also helps eliminate that “swing” factor so common with shoulder strap laptop cases. The padded section on the shoulder strap conforms to the shape of your shoulder and is very comfortable – even over long distances. The handgrips are very comfortable to use when you aren’t going far and want to keep a closer grip on your Cozmo case.
Medium Cable Guy
This handy pouch is double sided and can fit quite a few mobile gadgets. If you want to have your external drives quickly accessible or even for adaptors this is a great addition to the Cozmo laptop bag.
The Cable guy is available in Small, Medium and Large sizes. The Cable Guy I received for evaluation is the medium size and for my needs it was just the right size. I could see that the large size would be very handy on long trips.
You have a choice of colors with this item as well. Colors include Blue, Checkers, Lead and Taxi.
Horizontal SleeveCase
You select the correct size of sleevecase based on the model of your laptop which help ensures that you have a snug and secure fit.
The sleevecase has two exterior file pockets and you have the option to add shoulder straps or a piggyback pouch. The sleevecase is constructed of neoprene and ballistic nylon and is well padded to protect your laptop. It has a nylon strap on the outside bottom to assist you when removing your laptop. It is also quite easy to remove your laptop with just one hand which comes in handy in airports.
