Ballistic nylon laptop cases are most likely the easiest to care for and clean. They do not stain easily due to the tight weave and toughness of the nylon fabric. Ballistic nylon laptop cases also do not collect dirt and lint easily.
Check the tags and documents that come with your new ballistic nylon laptop case to see if the case has been treated with a protectant such as Teflon or ScotchGuard. If your new case has not been treated, then use a protectant before going out with it.
Regular home cleaning products can be used to treat stubborn stains. Foaming upholstery cleaners created for wool-nylon blends can be used as well. Always test on a small area of the laptop case to ensure that discolouring will not occur. Mild soap, water and nylon can be used for light cleaning.
Be sure that inappropriate cleaners do not get on any leather or suede trim.
