Guide Review - Matrox TripleHead2Go
I reviewed the Matrox TripleHead2Go, which enables you to add up to three additional external monitors to your laptop or desktop system.
One of the advantages of this gadget is that you dont need to open your laptop or desktop case to make internal changes. You connect the TripleHead2Go to your external monitor connection and then start adding new monitors.
The type and number of video cards in your desktop or laptop has always limited creating a multi-display environment. Now you can easily add more displays, improve your productivity.
Be sure to check to see if your current graphic card is compatible with the Matrox TripleHead2Go using the Compatibility tool or checking the list of supported video cards.
One point I will make is that you currently have two video cards in your desktop system, the Compatibility tool will not pick up both. One of my video cards is shown on the list but since it was something I added, the Compatibility tool does not detect it.
When I connected the Matrox TripleHead2Go, I used the newer graphic card and had no problems. Desktop graphic cards are relatively inexpensive to upgrade and a wise idea if you want to enjoy using more displays.
The Matrox TripleHead2Go can also be used for presentations. Adding three additional monitors and using your laptop enables more people to easily view a presentation. Simply arrange each of the monitors around a table so that 2 3 people can each view a display.
