I have to admit when I first examined the Xbrand Laptop Cradle from Ambir Technology I wasn't sure it would handle the weight of my laptop. The Laptop Cradle is very compact and lightweight but as I discovered - appearances are deceiving. Not only does it hold my laptop in place securely but I am able to easily adjust the height with the laptop in the cradle with no problems.
The Xbrand Laptop Cradle is sleek in its design and takes up very little space, so is ideal for users who have small workspaces. It easily swivels if the need is there to allow others to view the display and your laptop stays in place.
Unlike some cradles which can block ports and bays, the Xbrand Laptop Cradle leaves all ports and bays available. Even for systems with front bays, the cradle can be lowered to it's lowest position and the front panel unlocks and pulls forward allowing access to front bays. No matter which position I used, I could take advantage of my optical drives and other ports with ease.
