Bottom-Line: Tixeo WorkSpace 3D is a secure web and video conferencing tool that is features-rich and completely reliable.
Pros: The enterprise package allows for up to 50 people to web conference at a time, so it’s perfect for larger meetings. It also has collaboration tools such as a whiteboard, which make working together during a meeting a breeze.

Price: Much more expensive than competitors like Webex and GoToMeeting, starts at around 400 dollars per month.
Basic Features
Tixeo WorkSpace3D is a pleasant, although expensive tool. It has VoIP, so all voice communications can go over the Internet, saving on phone costs. However, if a user wants to connect to a meeting over the phone, it’s also possible to do so as the company provides a dial-in conferencing service. The cost of the call is paid by each participant to their own phone provider, so the meeting host doesn’t have to foot the bill for those who prefer to access the web conference by phone.
One of my favorite features of Tixeo WorkSpace3D is that the web conference’s audio and video adapt themselves automatically to each participant’s Internet connection speed, ensuring that everyone has as reliable a connection as possible. On all my tests of this tool, the connection worked perfectly, and the meeting suffered no delays in both audio and video whatsoever. Video was completely smooth at all times, making the test video conference a real pleasure. For those that have HD cameras, High Definition video is available.
What’s more, users can place the video windows in any way they want on their screen, so they can view videos and documents at the same time in the way that suits them best. This was great for collaborating on a document while still seeing the other video conference participants.
It’s also possible to easily share a file with the video conference participants, as it is uploaded to Tixeo WorkSpace3D’s server. if the file is changed, participants get notified of the changes and can access the new version of the file on the server.
Collaboration Capabilities
Users can chat with each other while video or web conferencing, which is helpful for sharing links and other quick written materials, for example. Users can also share their desktops in 2D or 3D, and allow conference participants to take control of their desktops for document editing or test-driving a piece of software. It’s also possible to share a number of different desktops with other attendees during the conference, so if files being worked on are stored on different machines, it’s no problem.
If sharing a desktop is too much, users can also choose to share only a single application such as a word processor or web browser. Tixeo WorkSpace3D optimizes the screen when sharing an application so that video input from the conference participants can still be seen. The web conferencing tool also comes with a whiteboard function, which allows participants to edit all kinds of image files collaboratively.
One unique feature of this tool is the ability to share a 3D model with the web conference participants, who will then be able to look at the model from any desired angle.
An Advanced Video Conferencing Tool
While Tixeo WorkSpace3D has a great user interface, it could be a bit too advanced for those new to web or video conferencing. That being said, once users get a few hours of training with the tool, it’s easy to make the most of all of its features. It is an ideal tool for larger enterprises (as the price can be prohibitive for smaller companies) that want to create a virtual meeting environment very similar to a real boardroom. It is reliable, features-rich and pleasant to use, especially as both video and sound are always presented without any delays. Because of that, users can really feel like they are meeting in person, which is great for fostering the ideal online business environment.
