Freedom HotspotLast month I mentioned a couple of interesting iPhone and iPod Touch cases that offer free 4G mobile internet access (yes, completely free! Up to 500MB, at least). Now the same company, FreedomPop, is offering mobile broadband devices--a USB modem and a mobile hotspot device--so you can get the same free internet service on your PC or Mac laptop, Wi-Fi only iPad or other wireless devices.

Did I mention it was free?

The plans and device costs differ depending on which Freedom product you use, so check out this overview to learn more.

This is a timely post for me because I am realizing how much I truly need mobile internet. This week I spent more time away from the office, home and real than I did in it. I have no mobile internet because I did not want to pay for it. Now, I realize I need to do something. Thank you for pointing me in a direction.

Thanks for the advice… website dose not offer much on the different devices.
After selecting their highest paid plan they throw in 1GB extra for free so you have 5GB… but the catch is that they keep a high deposit for the cheep USB stick (or Hub) so if you lose it you paid for it… and they invest your too high a deposit and make money on top of the maximum monthly plan I was going for… its like borrowing money interest free… NOT A GOOD DEALů. unless you are going for the free stuff.
