Guide Review - Fujitsu ST5020D Tablet PC

The Fujitsu ST5020D Tablet PC I received for review had the Integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG (802.11b/g) which makes connecting to a Wi-Fi network quick and easy. It recognizes any available networks and once you enter the SSID and Network Key, you can connect and begin working. Re-connecting to a network at a later date is just a matter of selecting which available network you wish to access, no need to keep entering information time after time.

The display on the Fujitsu ST5020D was very impressive, this Tablet PC uses a dedicated graphic chipset which allows you to view images sharply and clearly. Quite often Tablet PC's offer less than optimum display quality but not so with the ST5020D.

I was quite pleased with the battery life and found that I was able to use the Fujitsu ST5020D for just over 5 hours before requiring a recharge. This will prove very beneficial to mobile workers who may not have access to any electrical outlets during the day. For those who may be away from electrical access for longer periods, there is an optional high capacity 9 cell battery which offers up to 9 hours of operating time.

I really enjoy using the handwriting capabilities of the ST5020D and feel it's a great replacement for pen and paper. Plus you don't have to worry about creating a lot of unnecessary waste. This Tablet PC would be a great addition for any mobile professional to have.
