Guide Review - Fujitsu P1510D Notebook
Initial impressions of mobile gear dont always live up to actual performance with mobile gear you dont have to worry about that with the Fujitsu P1510D Notebook. The compact size and light weight make it an ideal gadget for mobile professionals.
The Fujitsu P1510D Notebook that I reviewed included an external USB DVD/CD-RW Combo drive. The external drive provided increased functionality to the P1510D and also enabled me to have a DVD drive available for those times when a co-worker or client doesnt have one. It is a great accessory to have with the P1510D.
The P1510D includes the following security features: an integrated biometric finger print sensor, Embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and security lock slot.
The P1510D offers a variety of methods for sharing and storing data, and includes: one Type I or Type II CF Card slot, one Secure Digital (SD) Card slot and 2 USB 2.0 ports.
While I found the keyboard comfortable to use, some mobile professionals especially those with larger hands may find that the keyboard can be awkward to use initially.
Using the pen to input data was also comfortable and was very useful for taking notes during meetings and/or conferences.
I had no complaints with the battery life even when using Wi-Fi and working with a variety of documents at the same time.
If you are looking for an alternative to a traditional laptop and want something that is compact then the Fujitsu P1510D is a Tablet PC worth considering.
