I enjoy the convenience of using a PDA to make notes and keep track of ideas but hate trying to keep these organized with my laptop. Using PhatPad 4.1 software makes this a much easier task. The added bonus of being able to include drawings is a great benefit as there are times when a picture is really needed. Have you ever tried explaining something that you made note of to someone and it just wasn't understood? Now you can add drawings to make ideas more easily understood.
PhatPad installs easily and is a small program considering what it does. You need to install it on your desktop or laptop computer and then your PDA or Tablet PC. It improves on the basics of being able to enter information with a stylus.
As always I like to check the User Guide for any gadget or software and what is provided by PhatWare is very comprehensive and easy to understand. There is a User Manual you can download or you can use online tutorials to make sure that you are using the software to its full potential.
PhatPad can be customized to suit your style whether it's a particular ink color you prefer, the size of the document or how thick or thin you want the ink to be.
It's easy to transfer PhatPad files between your Pocket PC and PC - laptop or desktop. Once you have transferred the files you can do more work with them or share with co-workers and/or clients. The editing commands are straight-forward and it is easy to undo something you aren't happy with.
PhatPad is a great little program that has a lot of potential uses for mobile professionals and is definitely a program I'd recommend no matter which industry you may work in.
