The latest Swivel Pro Flash drive from Imation is another handy way for mobile professionals to safely store their data while on the road.
The Swivel Flash Pro drive is very sturdy and constructed well. Even if you carry it in a pocket you won't damage the drive.
One of the nice advantages with the Swivel Pro Flash is that it can be used with older USB 1.1 laptops in addition to new laptops. It is also cross-platform compatible which is very handy as you never know what type of OS may be in use with clients.
I still find that the swivel cover itself could or should be tighter. I quite often have my flash drive in a pouch in my laptop case or in a pocket while working and found that the swivel did come out of position. This exposes the connection to getting dirt, dust and perhaps even damage to the connecting end. It is great that you won't lose the cap as that connection is very secure.
The Swivel Pro Flash is available in a variety of capacities. The unit I received for review was 1GB and it was more than adequate for my needs. I do suggest that if your budget allows go for the maximum capacity Swivel Pro Flash. It's always better to have more than not enough storage space and with how tiny this drive is you won't gain any weight.
Imation provides software that enables drive partitioning and password protection which I do suggest mobile professionals take advantage of. Adding security features to your portable storage is always a wise use of time.
