Guide Review - Apricorn EZ Bus Mini 60GB External Hard Drive
The Apricorn EZ Bus Mini 1.8" 60GB external hard drive is easy to set up and use. Just plug it into a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port and you are ready to work.
The Hard Drive:
The capacity of the hard drive I received for evaluation was 60GB and some of the features I really liked were: it includes a short USB cable which stores on the bottom of the drive itself and the rugged construction of the hard drive. It's very sturdy and designed for use by mobile professionals. The padded pouch will keep the drive protected, even if just in your pocket.
Using the Software:
-
EZ Gig II Backup and Disaster Recovery Software
Two programs are available for mobile professionals to use: Clone EZ which enables you to make an exact bootable clone of your hard drive and Image EZ which is used to take create an image of your entire system and compresses the image to half its original size.
- Second Copy Synchronizing Software
An easy to use program which gives mobile professionals a variety of options for synchronizing systems for backup purposes and file sharing. - Cryptainer Encryption Software
Using Blowfish 128bit encryption your data will be securely protected and you can password protect by file or folder. It's as simple as dragging and dropping files or folders that you wish to keep hidden.
With the flexibility the EZ Bus Mini provides, it's more than just an external hard drive. It becomes a powerful tool for mobile professionals enabling them to work efficiently and securely on the road.
