The W810i Deluxe Walkman® phone is a cell phone that keeps you in touch with co-workers and helps keep you entertained while on the road. The strengths of this cell phone are Networks available and Connection options (detailed below)

The W810i also has organization and contact management programs so it's not just for fun and games.

Keyboard, Navigation & Display

The keypad and navigation keys are right at the top of the keypad which is convenient but the keys are somewhat small and you might end up opening a feature you didn't plan on. There are no Talk or End keys on this cell phone - the Clear and Back keys act in that capacity. They keys are elevated from the face of the cell phone which does make it easier to feel the buttons but you may notice that the keys seem to stick or be stiff unless you use enough pressure. This is good in that you aren't likely to press a key by accident.
The display is 1.9" color which can be viewed vertically or horizontally. Images display quite crisply and are bright.

Imaging Features

The 2-megapixel camera offers you the choice of photo sizes - 1,632x1,224, 640x480, and 160x120. Along with the adjusting the size of the photo you can also select from Normal, Panoramic, Frames and Burst, night modes. The camera has a 4X digital zoom for getting in close and a specialized macro for really tight shots. Picture effects include: Negative, Black and White, Sepia and Solarize.
You can also record video clips with sound using the MPEG-4 recorder. Two choices of resolution are available - 176x144 and 128x96. Basic editing features are available to help you make your clips more enjoyable. Included with this phone is Photo DJ which lets you play with your images and add some special effects. QuickTime and Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition are included on the software CD.
The internal storage space is limited to 20MB but the cell phone has Memory Stick PRO Duo™ support for increased storage.

Audio Features

Again the limit of 20MB of internal memory can limit the amount of music you have available. The sound quality is fair, the volume isn't really loud and you do need to use external speakers or headphones to hear the music well. You can use your own music as ring tones and even share music with others.
One of the interesting features is the FM Radio which does require that the included headphone be used.
Software included on the CD is Music DJ which you use to compose your own ring tones.
