The MacBook Pro line of notebooks have been updated as has their counterpart the MacBook. The notebooks have been updated to Intel Core 2 Duo processors, installed memory is now 2Gb and can be expanded to 4GB. The 15.4" model now has a backlit LED display and is more power efficient and mercury-free. There is an option to get a high resolution display for the 17" model.

All models come with a scrolling Trackpad, illuminiated keyboard, infrared Apple Remote, 85 Watt Apple Magsafe Power Adapter, built-in iSight video camera, Gigabit Ethernet port, built-in Airport Extreme 802.11n and Bluetooth.

2.2 GHz, 15.4" Widesscreen LED-Backlit 1440 x 900 LCD MacBook Pro:
