Guide Review - ID Messenger Laptop Bag

With a variety of color combinations to select from, the ID Messenger laptop bag is a good choice for gals or guys.

It is well constructed and since the back is reinforced with hard foam so that whatever you are carrying doesn’t break through and rub against you while carrying the ID laptop bag.

There is plenty of space for storing mobile accessories and the usual pens/paper that we all still need. [link url=http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/ACC/TB0317]Tom Bihn[/lin] also has available optional storage pouches which are very useful for keeping smaller items organized and protected from damage.

One of the neatest features is the way that the Brain Cell connects to the inside compartment of the ID laptop bag. There are two clips, which go through the loops on the Brain Cell and then snap shut. The reason I like these clips is it increases how securely your laptop is held inside the ID. In order to open the clips requires two hands and it isn’t something that can be done quickly.

The only downside to this bag that I can find is that there are no feet on the bottom of the bag, so if you happen to set it down on a surface that isn’t smooth, the bag will tip over. So be sure to lean it against something if you set it down.

The zippers on the external pockets were designed so that no matter what mobile gear you happen to store in them, they will be protected from the elements and being bounced around. The inside of the pockets is Ultrasuede® so you know your gear won’t get scratched. Rather than the edges of the zipper just having sewn fabric surrounding the zipper, Tom Bihn have used Uretech® which provides a seal to protect the contents of the pocket.

The slot pocket on the rear of the bag is useful for small files or for placing tickets or other document for quick access.

Overall, a very useful laptop messenger style bag that can hold a lot of gear and carry it comfortably.
