Guide Review - Logitech Premium USB Headset 350
I've used the Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 for creating audio presentations, participating with voice chat and for a web conference. In all cases I was able to clearly hear and be heard without worrying about distracting background noises.
The headset also works great for voice recognition software including the voice recognititon included with Microsoft XP and Office 2003. It didn't take long to complete the voice training and I was very pleased with the accuracy. The headset makes a big difference as it keeps outside noises, including the hum of your computer from competing with your voice.
The earpads are well cushioned and even wearing the headset for an extended period of time isn't uncomfortable. They don't weigh much so your neck and head won't tired. They are completely adjustable and I found they don't slide once put on and adjusted.
Controlling volume is easily accomplished using the touch pad on the headset cable. The mute selection for the microphone which is controlled with just one touch.
No software is required to operate this headset, just plug into an available USB port and you are ready to work.
For any mobile professional that requires the ability to use a variety of web-based communication tools and enhance productivity with software programs, the Premium USB Headset 350 will certainly provide them with an ideal mobile accessory.
When you don't need the microphone, it easily and securely tucks up alongside the headband and stays out of your way.
