Using a keyboard protector for your notebook is a great idea and not only will help you keep your keyboard clean but protect it from possible damage as tiny bits and pieces of who-knows-what fall between the keys.
Ghost
The Ghost is very cool, I just want you to know that upfront. I've always admired the glowing, backlit keyboards. The Ghost keyboard protector gives you a similar effect. It does require exposure to an outside light source first.It fit over my MacBook keyboard without any fuss and required me to only lightly press down to ensure that everything was lined up correctly. Once in place it had no negative effect on how I used the keyboard. If anything it gives a nice cushioned feeling to when I was typing - especially for typing for long periods of time.
When it was time to clean, just pull it off and was with warm water and some mild soap. Let it dry completely and you can put it back on.
Eclipse
The Eclipse keyboard protector is black and when placed over the keyboard on my white MacBook it looked pretty cool.Like the Ghost protector, the Eclipse can be put in place and removed for cleaning.
Both ProTouch keyboard protectors (Ghost and Eclipse) should be an accessory that you consider for your Apple notebook. You could even purchase more than one so that you always have a spare ready.
