Guide Review - Kensington Flylight 2.0
The Kensington Flylight 2.0 is a laptop light which doesn't disappoint. The adjustable gooseneck stays put and can be adjusted to your exact comfort level and postion. When not in use it is easy to fold up and pack away - the gooseneck doesn't lose the ability to stay put, even when packed and unpacked numerous times. No weak spots or soft spots develop along the gooseneck.
The two levels of brightness available - this laptop light uses 8 LEDs and you can use all 8 at one time for a very bright light or just switch the setting to use 4 LEDs. The Flylight 2.0 also has a manual on/off switch. You can connect it your laptop, make basic adjustments then switch on to make sure it's illuminating your keyboard just right.
I liked having the ability to adjust the brightness, you don't always need or want a really bright light on your keyboard as that can be very tiring on your eyes. Another advantage to the adjustable brightness is you can help keep your laptop more private when working on a train or plane.
A laptop light is a great accessory for any mobile professional to keep in their laptop bag and the Flylight 2.0 in particular, provides an better way to work in low-light conditions.
