Definition: A kiosk is a free-standing workstation that offers only Internet access. These may be found in airports, trainstations or even in some cyber cafes. The kiosk provides high speed Internet access and the charges are normally per minute of usage. Free kiosks require the mobile user to view banner advertising as a condition of use.
