Do I Need to Backup My PDA?

From , former About.com Guide

Question: Do I Need to Backup My PDA?
Answer: It's very critical for mobile office professionals to get into the habit of regularly backing up their PDA data. If your PDA is lost or stolen, you have to recreate all that information which can be very time-consuming.
Synchronizing your PDA on a regular basis is a good habit but only protects e-mail, contacts and calendars, it does not protect the other data your PDA holds.
Begin a regular back up schedule when you first receive your PDA and stick with it.
You can also use a variety of removable storage cards to back up your data to. Keep a copy of your backed up data in a secure location and always make sure when traveling to keep your removable storage separate from your PDA.
