Guide Review - Imation USB 2.0 Swivel Flash Drive
I received the 256MB capacity Swivel Flash drive and found that capacity was quite adequate for my needs. I had the driver installed and was transferring files between my laptop and desktop in no time. It was simple drag and drop or you could use Copy Paste and select the Flash drive icon.
At the time I was reviewing this item, my desktop computer decided it had enough of me and I put the Imation flash drive to good use transferring files from the old hard drive to the new hard drive. In the past I would likely have burned the data to cd's and then after the transfers are complete I have cd's with soon to be out of date information.
The Imation Swivel Flash drives provides an excellent alternative and less time consuming method of transferring files of any type.
An item mentioned on the Imation web site that is worth repeating is the fact that by having documents or media files stored on the drive increases the protection of your data. If your laptop crashes or otherwise gives you problems, you don't have to worry about how to recover your data. It's safe on the flash drive.
Using the software that is available for download, made it easy to set up partitions and add password protection, further increasing security of data.
This flash drive is certainly worth the peace of mind it provides in both functionality and security.
