Mobile office professionals need to take steps to ensure the safety and security of their mobile gadgets. Don't let your mobile gear become the target of theft or damage.
- Never leave your mobile gear unattended, even for a moment.
- If you must leave your mobile gear in a car - put it in the trunk and remember to lock the trunk.
- Use a carrying case for your laptop that is sturdy and doesn't scream "laptop inside".
- If you are at a client's and going for a coffee or lunch - lock your gear in a desk or in an office that can be locked.
- Buy a cable locking device and use it!
