Guide Review - IBM ThinkPad X40
The ThinkPad X40 will be the smallest laptop available at this time and for mobile users this provides them with a strong and incredibly portable work machine.
Mobile users will be pleased with the full size keyboard, that is usually the major complaint regarding laptops, especially ultraportables.
The downside is in order to get better battery life, more RAM and a bigger hard drive, mobile users will have to purchase upgrades, adding to the overall cost.
The addition of the Rapid Restore feature, which enables mobile users to access a protected area of the system when WinXP fails to load or crashes is a real benefit to mobile users as it will decrease their downtime and enable them to troubleshoot their laptop on their own.
