Guide Review - Fujitsu LifeBook T3010 Tablet PC
The review unit I received had a 40 GB hard drive and came with an external DVD CD R/W drive, port replicator and Executive Leather Portfolio.
Getting the T3010 up and running was accomplished in no time and I was able to connect with my Wi-Fi network with no problems. I was able to connect and get the external drive operating and software installed in a few minutes.
I liked having the ability to use the T3010 in either laptop or Tablet PC mode. Using the pen for inputting information did require a period of adjustment and learning just the right way to tap the screen. Be prepared to spend some time learning how to use the handwriting recognition function, it does take some practice to find the right style that works and feels comfortable.
During meetings it proved advantageous to take notes using the pen and have the means to incorporate diagrams without using a graphics program.
Having a variety of connections methods is always a bonus for mobile workers as you don't have to worry about not getting connected to the Internet or company network. Whether I used the Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection, both worked smoothly and connections made easily.
For mobile workers looking for something more than what laptops offer, the T3010 will meet those needs.
