In order to provide accurate insurance coverage for your mobile gear and/or home office equipment, it is a wise idea for mobile workers and telecommuters to maintain an inventory of the tools and equipment they need on the road and in their home office.
You can use software programs to create your inventory or just create a basic chart in any wordprocesssing program.
It's a good idea to review your inventory every few months to keep on top of any additions/deletions to your mobile gear. In addition to listing all computer equipment you should list any office furniture.
