240V may also be found although 230V is the official voltage.

Type G
It has three prongs (two flat and one rectangular) forming a triangle. Widely used in the United Kingdom.

Phone Jack Used:

The phone plug is officially known as BT431A. Some newer office buildings and hotels may have RJ-45 outlets.

Phone Line Adapter:

A phone line adapter will be required in the UK to connect North American RJ-11 standard telephone lines to the British telephone jack.
