Friday's Feature: Targus Defcon Security Device

Friday July 1, 2005

Protect your laptop while traveling with the Targus Defcon Security Device. It has a 95dB alarm which will cause anyone to think twice before trying to take your laptop. The alarm will be set off if the cable is severed or the motion sensor is turned on. This security device has a four-digit combination lock which is re-settable and there are up to 10,000 different combinations possible.

The Targus Defcon Security Device easily attaches to your lapop with a retractable steel cable. The cable stays out of side in its plastic housing when not in use - making it easy to stow with your mobile gear when not in use. It has an LED to indicate alarm status and uses alkaline batteries for power.

Dimensions: 4.81" x 2.2" x 1.25" | Weight: 5.9 oz (with batteries installed)
